Can you help me get verified on social media?

What you can expect from the verification process on social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) after ordering our service.

Updated over 3 months ago

Social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook allow you to apply for free verification. Many platforms require you to be featured in multiple news sources as part of the free verification application process. This is something our service can help with, as all of our packages include major news publications and can include links to your social media accounts. Almost all of the publications will be visible on Google, and you can then use these news stories in your verification application process.

Social media sites usually consider many other factors, such as the age of your account, your active number, and your number of followers. Many clients have shown us they have been verified after applying with our articles. But, some clients have also reported getting rejected for various reasons, and unfortunately, social networks do not explain why. That is why we cannot guarantee you will get verified after using our service.

As of 2023, many social media networks also provide paid verification subscriptions. We will include both free and paid options below.

Important: We cannot guarantee verification, it's entirely up to each social media platform.

Publications on MSN.com will appear as written from a journalist which can greatly improve your chances of getting verified:

When applying for verification, we also recommend submitting a news article from Benzinga as its a large news outlet that does not mention sponsorship.

The Chronicle Journal and Starkville Daily News are also great options because they do not mention that the publication is sponsored and do not mention the words "press release" anywhere.

For even better chances you could place two separate orders so that you have two unique news stories to submit, rather than the same news story published on multiple sites.

Other Considerations

  1. Make sure your profile is active and has a profile picture, bio, and many followers.

  2. Choose publications that do not include the "sponsored content" or "advertisement" labels since they may not be accepted during verification. MSN.com, Newsmax, and Benzinga are great choices without any labels.

  3. Including two or more unique articles in your verification application is better. We can only publish one article per order, so placing two or more orders could be beneficial.

  4. Remove any low-quality posts and posts that may not be suitable for all ages.

  5. Ensure your account has two-factor authentication enabled.

  6. If rejected, most social networks will let you re-apply after 3 to 6 months.

Most common requirements for free verification

Here are the basic requirements for free verification on most social media networks

  1. Compliant: You must always follow the social networks Terms, Rules, and Community Guidelines. This usually includes only posting quality content suitable for all ages and not buying followers or likes. If your account has was banned at any time, you might not be able to get verified.

  2. Authentic: The account must represent a real person, registered business, or entity. If possible, the account should use an official email address. Your website's homepage should also include a link to your social media accounts.

  3. Unique: Usually, only one account per person or business may be verified, with exceptions for language-specific accounts. General interest accounts, e.g. meme accounts, may not get accepted.

  4. Complete: Your account must be public and have a fully completed bio or about page.

  5. Active: There should be a minimum history of 6 months of posts, activity, and logging in.

  6. Secure: You must have confirmed your email address and phone number. Your account must be secured with multi-factor authentication.

  7. Notable: Social networks only review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources without any 'sponsored' or 'advertising' labels.
