Will publications be labeled as sponsored content? Whose name appears as the author?

Which outlets show sponsored or advertisement labels, how third-party notices work, and what contact details are published with your story.

Sponsored labels

It varies by outlet. News sites such as MSN.com, Inter Press Service and Street Insider do not show any "sponsored content" or "advertisement" label, which makes them excellent for sharing and for social media verification.

Some outlets include a notice that a third party wrote the publication, and some may add a subtle "sponsored content" or "advertisement" label if required by local law.

To see which outlets show labels, open our sample report and check the live publications for the outlets you care about before you order.

Author and contact details

Your story is published as a news article, and the public brand details you enter on the order form (business name, contact name, email, website and country) appear at the end of every publication as the media contact. Resellers should enter the client's details here.

Where the story appears on the site

Some outlets publish our stories on their main domain, such as MSN.com and AP News. Others use a dedicated section, such as markets.businessinsider.com. See do you publish on subdomains or directly on the primary domain?
