Having the same content shared on several sites will not adversely affect your website's position on Google or SEO because news sites often republish the same content. This is how news stories usually go viral.

The "duplicate content" issue regarding SEO only occurs if your website directly copies content from another website and uses it on your own. Here is Googles Guide on duplicate content:

But, if you ever believe that any of our publications are causing issues with your Google rankings, you can always disavow them with Google. Here is the link to do so: https://search.google.com/search-console/disavow-links

You can export the text-based list of your publication URLs at the top of your report by clicking on Export -> Text List. You can then upload that list as a text file to Google disavow links page.

Just be aware that you will lose any positive SEO effect our articles have had on your website by disavowing the links.
