How to Spot Fraudulent Activity Impersonating Our Brand

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We have become aware that unauthorized individuals illegally impersonate BrandPush by copying our name, logo, and images to deceive others into sending money. These impersonators often use fake social media profiles and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal to build trust before directing individuals to fraudulent websites.

How to Identify Impersonation Attempts:

1) BrandPush is a press release marketing service. We do not offer any review jobs.

2) BrandPush will never communicate through WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal.

3) Official BrandPush website URLs always start with one of the following:

https://www.brandpush.co
https://help.brandpush.co
https://insights.brandpush.co

All other URLs are not affiliated with BrandPush in any way.

4) Authentic BrandPush.co emails will only originate from these domains:

  • @brandpush.co

  • @mail.brandpush.co

  • @brandpush.intercom-mail.com

Any communications from addresses other than those listed above should be treated as suspicious and reported immediately.

Known Impersonation Tactics:

These impersonators often create fake social media profiles to connect with individuals, gain their trust, and eventually guide them to fraudulent websites. These sites typically ask users to complete tasks such as writing reviews and then request increasing deposits, claiming this is part of earning rewards. However, the promised payouts are never delivered, and any deposits made are not returned.

To appear legitimate, they may create chat groups where multiple fake profiles share fabricated screenshots showing supposed payments from the fraudulent service.

What These Fraudulent Websites Look Like:

What to Do If You’ve Been Targeted:

We’ve successfully helped take down several fraudulent websites impersonating BrandPush. To support ongoing efforts and protect others, we recommend taking the following steps:

1) Contact Your Bank Immediately

If you’ve sent any money, get in touch with your bank right away. Ask if the payment can be reversed and provide details of the account where the funds were sent.

2) Report the Fraud to Authorities

Reporting these cases is essential to help law enforcement take action against the individuals behind them. You can report the fraudulent activity to international and local authorities using the links below:

Additionally you should file a report with your local police department.

Providing bank account details, phone numbers, website URLs, social media profiles of the impersonators, and any relevant screenshots to the authorities can significantly assist their investigation and help them take appropriate action.

3) Help Us Build Our Case

We're actively gathering information to support legal action against individuals impersonating BrandPush and to help remove websites that have unlawfully used our brand. If you have any website URLs, contact details, bank information, or conversation screenshots, please also share them with us. This information can be valuable in building a stronger case.

4) Report the Social Media Account

The person who directed you to the fraudulent website is part of a deceptive network. Reporting their social media profile helps limit their ability to target others.

To report a profile on Facebook or Instagram:

1. Visit the impersonator’s profile

2. Tap the three dots (…) near the top of their profile

3. Select Report or Report Profile

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process

5) Watch Out for Additional Fraudulent Contact

Individuals who engage in this kind of fraudulent activity may continue targeting those they’ve already contacted. Some might pretend to be law enforcement or recovery agents, offering to help retrieve lost funds for a fee.

Others may reach out again via social media to start a new deceptive interaction. Always verify the legitimacy of any messages or claims through official and trusted sources before responding or taking further action.
